PTNP Accounting ("we", "us", "our") is a licensed accounting firm located at 187/47 Songprapha 24, Don Mueang, Bangkok 10210, Thailand. We provide monthly accounting and tax services, year-end financial statement preparation, and company registration services to businesses in Thailand. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website at ptnpaccounting.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Contact form submissions: When you submit a consultation request, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, service of interest, and the message you write to us.
  • Usage data: We collect your IP address and browser type automatically when you interact with our website, for security and fraud prevention purposes.
  • Cookies: Our website uses essential session cookies required for the website to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry: Your name, email, and message are used solely to respond to your consultation request and follow up as needed.
  • To provide our services: If you become a client, your information is used to deliver accounting, tax, and registration services as agreed.
  • Legal compliance: We may retain and disclose your information where required by Thai law or a lawful order from a competent authority.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). The legal bases we rely on are: (a) your consent, given when you submit a contact form on our website; (b) performance of a contract, when we deliver services you have engaged us for; and (c) legitimate interests, to protect the security of our systems and prevent fraud.

5. Data Retention

Consultation enquiries are retained for up to 3 years from the date of submission, or for the duration of our client relationship, whichever is longer. If you enquire but do not become a client, we retain your data for up to 1 year. Financial and accounting records for active clients are retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with Thai accounting law (Accounting Act B.E. 2543).

6. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be accessed by our internal staff who need it to provide services to you. We may share data with the Thai Revenue Department, Department of Business Development, or other government authorities solely as required by law. We use email delivery tools to send responses to your enquiries; these providers process your email address on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements.

7. Your Rights Under PDPA

  • Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting lawful processing already carried out.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Thailand.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Access to personal data is limited to staff who require it for legitimate business purposes. All data transmitted via our contact form is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
