For most small to medium businesses, the full set-up process — from initial assessment through PEAK configuration, team training, and handover — takes between two and four weeks. The timeline depends on the complexity of your business, the number of entities, whether a data migration from a previous system is needed, and how quickly your team can commit time to training sessions. We will agree on a timeline before we start and keep you updated throughout. The three-month support period begins from the day of handover.
Excellent — the system set-up is designed to give your in-house bookkeeper the right tools, structure, and procedures to do their job well. We configure PEAK to match your business, design the document and approval flow, and train your bookkeeper directly on the system. After handover, your bookkeeper handles day-to-day entries and we provide three months of support for questions and troubleshooting. If you want PTNP to continue as a monthly oversight partner after the set-up is complete, we can discuss that as well.
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons clients come to us for system set-up. If your chart of accounts is poorly structured, your PEAK configuration is messy, or your records have accumulated errors over time, we start with a full assessment of your current state. We then propose a remediation and restructuring plan — which may involve reclassifying historical entries, redesigning the chart of accounts, and retraining your team — before implementing the corrected system. We are transparent about the scope of work and cost before any remediation begins.
